Beyond Fistral, a cliff-top path leads towards Little Fistral and its surrounding coves, where rock pools and shingle create a quieter stretch of coastline away from the main bay. At low tide, a route around the headland passes Newquay's historic Huer's Hut (1 mile) and connects to the town's seven beaches. Crantock Beach is accessible via a path along the Gannel Estuary at low tide, while Watergate Bay (5 miles) and Perranporth (9 miles), with its quirky shops, can both be reached by car.
