A truly special Isle of Anglesey retreat, this generous Beaumaris property captures commanding views out across the Menai Strait to the mainland. Sleeping 11 guests in five bedrooms across the main house and its annexe, the beautifully designed abode sits in an excellent position for accessing the shops, restaurants and pubs of the historic town. Make time to visit the impressive castle and see the Victorian gaol and courthouse here during your stay too. Pick up walks and trails from the town, including the Puffin Circular and Beaumaris Loop. Follow a section of the Anglesey Coastal Path, which runs for some 135 miles all the way round the island. While away summer days on magnificent beaches. Traeth Lleiniog, 3 miles away, which is backed by woodland, also looks over towards the mainland. Llanddona Beach, 4 miles away, at the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay, is popular for swimming and windsurfing.

Tear yourselves away from the astounding scenery to enter the main part of the property. Discover luxurious, reverse-level accommodation that has been arranged to maximise the views and finished to an exceptionally high standard by interior designers. Unlace your walking boots and hang your coats in the practical porch area. Discover you have two super-king-size, ground-floor bedrooms, with views across the Menai Strait, leading from a corridor. One of these has an en-suite bathroom and access to a utility room and side entrance. The other has zip-and-link beds that can also be configured as a twin if discussed in advance. There is also a family shower room here. Make your way up to the first floor to discover the heart of the holiday home. Here, there is a spectacular, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a row of windows looking out over the water towards Snowdonia. Conjure up hearty feasts for your friends and family in the chic kitchen area, then dine against the beautiful backdrop. Pull the doors back onto the balcony to bring the views and sea air right inside. Find your favourite programmes on the TV or play a game together. There is also a snug, with another TV, games and books, that you can slide off into if you fancy a few quiet moments to yourself. Your remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. These include a splendid en-suite super-king-size with both a bath and a shower. Awake in this bedroom to glorious, far-reaching views. A triple bedroom, with bunks and a single bed, is also here. Make your way over to the annexe to find another super-king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room. This could suit a couple seeking a little privacy from the rest of the group.

Spill out into the sunshine to relax on the balcony or patio. Recline on the loungers with your book and a glass of something chilled. Fire up the hot tub as often as you wish. You also have access to a private area via a bridge across a stream. Guests are welcome to explore the shared gardens. There is private parking here for four cars.
