A delightful cottage with rustic touches within 300 metres of Whitstable’s vast pebble beach. The dog-friendly cottage features an open-plan lounge/diner, a traditional kitchen and an enclosed courtyard garden. It is perfect for small families keen to absorb the historic, cultural and natural attractions of the Kent coast.
Located on a narrow street flanked by equally characterful properties, the two-storey cottage features cosy living areas with tasteful soft furnishings strewn across wooden or tiled flooring. The lounge/diner is a place to fetch everyone together for delicious holiday meals and discovering new TV programmes as the wood burner gently laps and crackles nearby. Conjure firm and indulgent favourites in the bright, traditional kitchen next door, with access to the garden, the family bathroom and a small lobby at one end. Head upstairs and rest easy in the comfort of either an en-suite double bedroom or twin bedroom. When the weather is kind, scamper out to the courtyard garden for alfresco snacks and evening tipples.
The cottage enjoys an enviable location in the centre of Whitstable, surrounded by dog-friendly pubs, independent cafes and shops. Dogs are welcome to explore the town’s pebble beach (300 metres) and aboard many boats which explore Whitstable Bay. The coastal town of Herne Bay (5 miles) and the ancient city of Canterbury (7.5 miles) have long welcomed families and canine visitors and can be accessed by road or Whitstable railway station (0.5 miles).
