This lovingly furnished property is a real holiday let, situated at the top of a picture-perfect seaside village, moments from an idyllic bay that you’ll be barking mad not to fall in love with. It’s beautiful inside with wonderful social spaces where you can gather with your friends and family, the perfect place to relax after days by the coast.

The light-filled living room is the perfect remedy after a long day’s adventure, with plenty of comfortable seating, a TV to enjoy a film and a roaring electric fire that your pup won’t be able to resist snoozing beside. The second living room has an impressive open fire to keep chilly paws toasty long into the evening. Take the local goodies you’ve fetched and lead the way to the contemporary kitchen/diner kitted out with everything you need to get creative and enjoy a family meal around the farmhouse-style dining table. You have three beautiful bedrooms upstairs to let sleeping dogs lie and dream of tomorrow’s adventure. Both contemporary bathrooms make light work of washing off sandy toes and paws. With its sweeping, sheltered bay and quaint red-roof cottages, Runswick Bay is one of Yorkshire’s prettiest coastal villages, located on the Cleveland Way National Trail, with lovely coastal walks north and south of the village with breathtaking views from Kettleness along the journey that’ll keep tails wagging. Treat your four-legged friend to an afternoon bounding through the waves of Runswick Bay Beach less than half a mile away, and sniff out the unique Hob Holes, small caves where legendary hobgoblins were reputed to live. You’ll be barking mad to miss the epic climb of the 199 Whitby Abbey steps, 10 miles away.

Lovely quiet location. Ideal base to explore this area of Yorkshire. The beach is well worth the effort to walk down and we went down every night.

The property location is excellent & great for us with a dog. However we have stayed here before & the internal damp problems have not been addressed, in fact they are worse & evident in every room.
