Make a romantic escape to the serene Suffolk countryside or come as a family of four and bring your happy hound with you to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. This first-floor dog friendly studio apartment sleeps four guests and welcomes their precious pet with open paws. Situated at Church Common, 1.5 miles from Snape Maltings, it nestles in idyllic, dog-walking countryside and enjoys access to shared gardens and a paddock, as well as a shared, heated swimming pool in the warmer months.

Climb the external staircase to enter the studio apartment, which is set within the owner’s grounds but enjoys its privacy. Make your way into the open plan kitchen, living and dining space to replenish your chum’s water bowl after your latest long walk and to pop something into the oven for dinner later on. This space is the heart of the home and where you can unwind in front of the TV while your contented canine stretches out and steals a quiet doze. There are two bedrooms available, one a superking zip and link for flexible sleeping as well as a double bedroom where you are sure to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Additionally there are two bathrooms; one shower room and one ensuite with bath and separate shower. Another staircase leads to your private terrace, where you can enjoy dining out in the fresh air. Take your pup for walks directly from the garden around the paddocks, along the heaths and through the woods. During the high season, guests are welcome to use the covered and heated pool in the daytime. There is parking for two cars and an EV charging point.

Find an abundance of riverside, heathland and woodland walks from the doorstep. Amble 1.5 miles to Snape Maltings, where four-legged visitors are welcome in many of the shops and eateries. Take a dog-friendly boat trip out along the River Alde from Snape during the summer months. Have a day out to Dunwich, 11.5 miles away, where your four-legged friend can run freely on the beach all year round and accompany you on walks through the colourful heath.

Good location and close to good walks and the beach. However, wouldnt stay again. House is linked with the owner and the dogs kept barking at mine through a glass door, had a curtain, but felt very overlooked, a wooden door would be better suited. Also, very evident their cats use the property as we had to keep all doors/windows closed as we had a Read morevisit on two occasions, to be woken up with a cat in your room (when you are highly allergic them) wasnt fun, thankfully my dog was in another room! Wouldnt stay again. Hide

A lovely holiday home with everything you could want. Very clean and comfortable. Good location very close to Snape Maltings and not too far from Aldeburgh.

An excellent property, especially the new kitchen. Ideal for touring Suffolk or simply chilling out. Highly recommended. Not suitable for anyone who cant manage stairs.

Wonderful clean accommodation. Perfectly situated to visit the surrounding area. 2 great pubs within walking distance. Would recommend.
