Discover the beauty and serenity of North Pembrokeshire when you take Rex on a dog-friendly retreat to this inviting West Wales cottage. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom hideaway is situated at Llangloffan, 5 miles from Fishguard. It is 4 miles from Abercastle, where Rex can dip his paws in the salty sea or inlets at any time of year and you can all follow the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The garden has a large lawn where children and pets can play. The cottage adjoins the owner's home but enjoys its privacy.

Dry Rex's paws then enter the cottage, which has underfloor heating downstairs, and find your way into the lounge to light the wood burner so he can warm his chilly fur. Watch the Smart TV or read a book in here until it is time to take him through to the kitchen for his dinner and prepare something for the humans as well. Serve up in the dining room, while Rex sleeps off his well-earned supper, then pat him goodnight and make your way up to bed. The three double bedrooms are all located upstairs at this property. One benefits from an en-suite shower room while the others have access to the family bathroom. Keep Rex close by as you walk around the farm and supervise him as he scampers across the lawned garden. Unwind on the patio as the sun sets and the BBQ heats up, with your happy hound by your side.

Make a picnic, grab some dog treats, and take Rex to the beach at Abermawr, 2.5 miles away, where he can also play without restriction. Plan a day out to St Davids, Britain's smallest city, where Rex can join you in the historic cathedral grounds, and many pubs and cafes.

  • 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles, 1 zip-and-link twin (can be made up as king-size on request)

We spent a whole week in this lovely house and it provided us with the most important thing during this hot spell: a good night's sleep due its thick walls which kept the heat out. The garden space with its combination of sun and shade also contributed to a very pleasant stay. We loved watching the very tame robins and doves and listening to the Read morecows coming up to the fence munching the grass. The owners were present but never intrusive. Their welcome package consisting of bread, butter, jams and eggs was very appreciated. We especially loved the water quality - a cup of tea never tasted so good! The bedrooms were of a good size with very comfy beds. We really enjoyed our week there and have no hesitation to recommend it for a very pleasant stay. Our introduction to Wales could not have gone better. Hide

This was a lovely, well equipped house in a beautiful, quiet and secluded location. We had a great stay and the owners were lovely people. They were always on hand if needed but never intrusive.

An excellent place to stay with good access to the Pembrokeshire coast. Fishguard and Newport great places to visit with excellent places to eat lovely fresh seafood. The parking not for those lacking confidence in their driving abilities but space in lay-by nearby. A lovely house with v helpful hosts next door.
