Treat yourselves and your canine companions to a relaxing stay at this gorgeous, converted cottage in an idyllic location near Beaumaris with a lovely big, enclosed courtyard and stunning grounds to explore. It’s the ideal retreat for a small group of friends or family looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful to stay close to the Anglesey coast.
This former dairy has been lovingly converted into a holiday home and is beautifully presented. Enter the open-plan living room/diner (two steps go up from the lounge to the dining area), with its stunning high ceiling, comfy sofas, and Smart TV with Netflix/DVD/CD. Enjoy dining together after cooking in the contemporary shaker-style kitchen, with a nod to the cottage’s past with a milk churn and butter paddles. There are two bedrooms, a super-king-size master (with one step up to it) and a twin, and a shower room with a luxurious walk-in shower. Outside is a large courtyard your pups are free to roam enclosed by traditional stone walls. Sit and enjoy al fresco drinks or have a BBQ, then gather around the fire pit as it gets chilly. There’s also plenty of space for cars/boats, and bike storage and you’re welcome to explore the gorgeous grounds, which include a terrace and pond, a traditional walled garden, and a pretty orchard.
The historic seaside town of Beaumaris is nearby, with local amenities within 0.5 miles, known for its castle, beautiful buildings, seafront and pier. Take a boat trip to Puffin Island from the pier and visit the beach (2 miles away) where pups can have a paddle and a good run. Head out for walkies along the coast to Penmon Point, where you’ll find spectacular views, or cross the Menai Bridge and explore Snowdonia with your four-legged friends by your side.
