Hidden away down a quiet pedestrianized back street, this charming former fisherman’s cottage is full of character and delightful original features. Ideal for a couple, family and their four-legged friend, spend your days roaming the town’s cobbled streets, exploring wonderful coastal walks and enjoying some traditional seaside fun.
Recently refurbished, the house is laid out over four floors with a cosy open-plan kitchen/diner on the ground floor where the whole family can gather for mealtimes together. Sit back and relax in the first-floor lounge or take a long soak in the stylish bathroom tub. The inviting master bedroom suite is on the second floor, where a plush king-size bed awaits. Though this property has no outside space of its own, the beaches of Looe are less than 200 metres from your door.
The town of Looe has pretty streets leading down to a picturesque harbour and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it. Though dogs are not allowed on East Looe''s beach, the shingle and sand Hannafore Beach (500 metres via the foot ferry) offers year-round unrestricted access for canine companions, as does Plaidy beach, just under a mile away. There are a number of lovely cafes and pubs to choose from, many of them actively encouraging dog owners to bring along their furry friends, making this an excellent destination for the foodies among you. The South West Coast Path is sure to get tails wagging and leads the way to adventure from the heart of town. Looe is also a fantastic place to enjoy the New Year festivities when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere. However, the fireworks may not be to everyone''s liking!
