Luxuriate in a Cornish glamping experience with your favourite faithful friend. This one-bedroom, geodesic dome at Ashton, 4 miles from Helston, in West Cornwall, sleeps two guests and welcomes pups with a big wag of the tail. For you, it comes with a private hot tub for hot soaks after days out. For your pet, there is an abundance of wonderful walks right from the doorstep.
Accompany your canine up one step onto the wooden deck and then round to the back of the dome. Make your way inside to find friendly, light-filled accommodation where you can enjoy some downtime. Stoke up the wood burner as your contented canine finds his own special space. Serve him his dinner inside or out and prepare a light snack for you to sit down to at the table by the window. Find a film on the Smart TV afterwards. Give your chum a last pat goodnight before stretching out on the king-size bed to gaze up at the night sky through the roof. The dome comes with a private, outdoor kitchen, plus a private shower room, with a WC, 20 metres away. There are also useful shared on-site laundry facilities where you can rinse through damp dog towels after trips to the beach. Relax on the deck on fine, sunny days. Take your pal on a stroll around the grassy site. There is parking for one car near the dome, with additional space in the car park.
Venture 1.5 miles to Porthcew Beach, where dogs can play on the sand and splash in the waves at any time. Bound along a section of the South West Coast Path with your walking pal while you are here. Head 5.5 miles to cross the causeway to St Michael’s Mount together when the tide is out.
