Join friends, family and furry companions in this luxurious, North Cornwall retreat overlooking the Camel Estuary. Sleeping ten guests and two waggy-tailed chums, the spacious property boasts a vast, open-plan living area and a choice of outdoor areas for al fresco entertaining. The picturesque town of Padstow is 5.5 miles away and nearby paw-friendly attractions include Prideaux Place (5 miles) and Tintagel Castle (19.5 miles).

The striking property sits in an elevated position with unspoilt views across open fields. Inside, the barn conversion has a reverse-level layout, with four elegant bedrooms on the ground floor. Two of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and you’ll also find a family bathroom on this level. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room where you can store all the hounds’ paraphernalia. The final bedroom – a gorgeous super-king-size with en-suite facilities – is located upstairs. On this floor, discover the holiday home’s piece de resistance: an impressive, open-plan kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, statement furniture, luxurious fixtures and fittings, and relaxing countryside views. The stylish kitchen area is a joy to cook in, with an array of high-end appliances and a sleek, central island for perching with a glass of wine. Just off the kitchen is a sunroom for enjoying breakfast or a morning coffee with a view. This quiet spot is also a good place for the woofers to set up camp, away from the hustle and bustle of the main living area. Taking centre stage in the kitchen/diner is a large, banquet-style dining table where you can host dinner parties and special occasions. A small flight of stairs leads down to the lounge with its bespoke, curved roof and floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic estuary views. Unwind here after a day of adventure, catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV whilst Rover and Fido warm their paws in front of the roaring wood burner. Outside, soak up some Cornish rays on one of the sun loungers on the glass-fronted balcony, before gathering on the terrace below for an evening of al fresco dining. Here, you’ll find a large table to seat everyone, along with a fire pit and BBQ. Beyond the terrace, discover a grassed area where the pups can play and a hammock for relaxing with a good book in the sunshine. Rounding off the outdoor space is a heated shower and a luxurious hot tub – perfect for reviving weary legs after a long dog walk. The property has private parking for two cars, with additional spaces in the visitor parking area, subject to availability.

Head into the pretty harbour town of Padstow to wander amongst its narrow, cobbled streets, popping into the paw-friendly shops and eateries. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, offering fabulous clifftop walks with jaw-dropping views. There are several woof-friendly hidden coves within easy reach of Padstow, or journey to one of the seven magnificent bays around St Merryn (6 miles). The traffic-free Camel Trail passes just 0.5 miles from the property, providing stunning, waterside walks between Padstow and Bodmin.

We had an amazing stay at Roundhouse Mill to celebrate a birthday. This house definitely has the 'Wow' factor. Beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard with all you could need and more! The whole family loved it: the views, the hottub, the space, the comfort, the logburner. We couldn't have wished for a better stay.

Beautiful property with stunning views, only concern was that the side entrance isn't gated so if you have dogs with you hey are able to get onto the communal parking area.
