Situated in a quiet village just 3 miles from the bustling harbour town of Padstow, this Canadian-style log cabin home provides a welcome retreat for a family holiday of eight people and two canine companions. Set among an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the beaches and activities of the Camel Estuary, no stick will be left unfetched.

This quirky holiday home is one of several contemporary log cabins in a pretty estate in Little Petherick. Inside, you will find wooden walls and open beamed ceilings combined with stylish decor and furnishings. There is plenty of space for large groups to socialise together, enjoy movies in the lounge on the comfortable seating, or play games in the snug equipped with a desk and bean bag. The kitchen/diner has doors opening onto a decking area, and a handy utility room has laundry facilities and access to the rear of the property – perfect for cleaning the dogs off before heading inside. Upstairs are the four bedrooms, one en-suite, and a separate bathroom. Soak up countryside views from the outside space, a large terrace with patio furniture enclosed by a surrounding fence to keep both dogs and children safe.

Nestled in a wooded valley, you will find walking routes from the doorstep that wind into the countryside. Join the long-distance Camel Trail (1 mile), a virtually traffic-free route passing through some of the lovely Cornish landscape, perfectly safe for your dogs to go mutts. If getting the sea breeze through their fur is more their thing, head to Hawker’s and Harbour Cove (4 miles). Just 3 miles away is the fishing town of Padstow, home to some of the best restaurants in Cornwall, or enjoy a family day out at Camel Creek Theme Park (3 miles).

Fantastic place with lots of room, kitchen very well equipped, very clean and tidy, there was 6 of us, and there was loads of room, would highly recommend!

This is my second time staying at Trenant with 2 dogs and would come back time after time. The property is so well situated; the road is so peaceful and well located for beaches and restaurants. As soon as you walk into the immaculate property you feel so relaxed. I would not stay anywhere else!
