The dog-friendly cottage features a comfortable lounge/diner, well-appointed bedrooms and a small garden enjoying harbour views. It is perfect for small groups or groups keen to explore the natural and cultural wonders of the area’s shorelines and undulating countryside.

A family bathroom is only a few paw prints away. The double bedroom and the two single bedrooms on the first floor all enjoy lovely views, while the second floor en-suite double bedroom is housed in the eaves. A small garden at the front of the cottage overlooks the harbour and is a scenic base for a morning coffee or a nightcap after a long day out.

The property is located on the harbour road running into Southwold (1 mile) and there are several dog-friendly cafes, pubs and shops along the way. There is more of the same in Southwold’s marketplace, while the town’s Denes Beach welcomes dogs all year round. The pretty Georgian village of Walberswick (less than 1 mile) is peppered with dog- and family-friendly pubs and cafes, while its reserves a wonderful place to reconnect with nature.

Character property in a great location..It would probably be a bit draughty in the winter, but we found it to be OK in the autumn even in windy conditions. The new heating system seems to be efficient, though we only needed to switch it on for a short time on two evenings. Very handy for The Harbour Inn and the two excellent fish and chip shops, anRead mored a pleasant walk across the fields to the town. We have visited once before and will return. Hide

We had a fabulous week in the cottage - we did have some amazing weather too. The cottage is really comfortable and cozy and we loved the way it was styled. It was really well equipped and would definitely book again should we return to Southwold (which is highly likely!!!)

A nostalgic step back in time, that warm feeling from childhood of staying with your Grandma. A cosy comfortable cottage where everything has been thought of, in the most beautiful location you could imagine. We would almost rather not tell people how lovely we found it because more people will book it and we won't be able to stay again!!

The cottage is beautifully presented, with a lovely sense of going back in time of quaint and thoughtful comfort. We so enjoyed the sunrises at the back at sunsets at the front. Such a wonderful location.
