Set along the beautiful south Pembrokeshire coastline, this welcoming seaside home in Saundersfoot is a brilliant base for families travelling with their four-legged companions. With its laid-back harbour town feel, golden shoreline and easy-going atmosphere, it’s the kind of place where sandy paws and salty coats are part of the daily routine.

At the house, the sea views set the tone from the moment you arrive. Step through the entrance hall into a comfortable lounge with plush seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner that Rover is sure to adore. On warmer days, open the glass doors to the front patio and let the sea breeze drift through while light floods the room. The dining area provides a sociable setting for shared meals, while the well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for easy holiday cooking after days exploring the coast with your furry sidekick. A ground-floor shower room and separate WC add convenience for sandy returns from the beach. Upstairs, three restful double bedrooms all benefit from sea views, giving guests a calming coastal outlook to wake up to. A family bathroom completes the first floor. Outside, the front patio is a lovely spot for a morning coffee while Rover watches the tide and passing boats, while the rear patio includes a summer house offering a shaded retreat on warmer days and another peaceful corner to sit back in after roaming the Pembrokeshire coast. Private parking for three cars is provided.

At low tide, the wide beach opens out for long strolls with your faithful hound in year-round designated zones, while the compact town centre brings together cafes, pubs, ice cream parlours and independent shops. The working harbour hints at Saundersfoot’s past, though today it’s more likely to be kayaks, paddleboards and small boats bobbing on the water. Nearby, coastal gems such as Glen Beach (0.5 miles), Coppet Hall Beach (0.5 miles) and Monkstone Beach (1.5 miles) provide even more space for walkies and sea air adventures.

Ideally located for the beach and town facilities. Central, but surprisingly quiet. Lovely view from the patio. Good to have parking for at least 2 cars. Lots of space to spread out. Kitchen well provisioned. Very comfortable.

Lovely location, the views are just amazing from the veranda. The beaches were just a stroll away and included a large beach , when the tide is out, which allowed dogs. There are plenty of places to eat and drink just a short stroll away, and places to visit if you wanted to explore the local area by car. The house itself is dated, think 1970'sRead more. But clean and comfortable. The beds are doubles but there would be plenty of room to fit a king which would have really elevated this property. Overall, we had lovely week and I would recommend. Perfect location looking over harbour. Easy to walk to all amenities. Mixture of old and new fittings with everything needed for your holiday. Only drawback was shower which opened straight onto corridor. We will certainly be pleased to visit again.
