Treat your four-legged friend to an amazing stay at this cutting-edge contemporary retreat in Newlyn. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom, architect-designed abode offers striking accommodation and an impressive tropical garden, with a hot tub for you and exquisite lawned areas for your pup.

Let your chum explore the New Zealand-style accommodation that captures sea views across several levels. Follow him into the games room, then challenge your friends, or the office/snug, for a few quiet moments to yourselves. On the floor above, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner encompasses ample space for all. Conjure up delicious meals, dine at the table and pull back the glass doors to the balcony so you and your furry friend can savour the salty sea air. A utility area, a WC and two bedrooms that lead onto the garden are also here. These are a king-size, with an en-suite shower room, and a twin, with an en-suite bathroom and zip-and-link beds that can also be made up as a super-king-size if requested. Above the utility space is a cinema room where your canine can keep you company on movie nights. On the second floor, a twin bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, and a super-king-size, with an en-suite bathroom, both open onto a balcony and have zip-and-link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. Spend as much time as possible with your four-pawed pal out in the magical garden. Mix a drink at the bar, heat up the cedar hot tub and light the BBQ as he stretches out in the sunshine. There is parking for two cars.

Stride out along the South West Coast Path together. From Marazion Beach, 5.5 miles away, walk across to St Michael’s Mount when the tide is out. Explore 25 acres of beautiful grounds at the National Trust’s Trengwainton Garden, 3 miles away.

We had an amazing week at Blue Elvin. For me the house was the holiday, I hardly needed to leave the place. We were blessed with great weather which obviously helped. The garden is an oasis, lovely sun traps but also lots of cool shade under the tropical foliage. The views, the stylish furniture and layout were all outstanding. We found everythRead moreing we needed there, the sound system & televisions were easy to use. The kitchen had lots of equipment and in the village were the best fishmongers so we actually ate in most nights. We loved the games room, played pool most evenings. You can walk to Penzance and Mousehole if you wish, we walked and also used the buses for these trips. I would definitely book again. Hide
