Sea views and salty air set the tone at this welcoming coastal apartment overlooking Bideford Bay, the Bristol Channel and Lundy Island. The three-bedroom property is perfect for families, couples or friends who fancy a traditional seaside escape. It’s right on the water’s edge in Westward Ho!, known for its two-mile sandy beach and pebble ridge linking to the delightful Northam Burrows Country Park (0.5 miles), which is excellent for flat and level walking, or the South West Coastal path with its stunning views. Westward Ho! also has plenty of restaurants, pubs, amusements and shops, while keen golfers can tee off at the nearby golf club (1.2 miles). Further afield, the charming harbour town of Bideford and pretty Appledore (both 3 miles), along with Instow (5 miles) are all packed with independent shops and eateries. Boat trips leave regularly from Bideford’s historic working harbour – if the timings are right, you could spend the day on Lundy, known for its seasonal puffins.

On arrival at this ground-floor apartment, you’ll step into a bright open-plan living space that’s excellent for socialising with fellow guests. Large windows and balcony access make the most of the stunning coastal backdrop, while a large corner sofa and Smart TV create an inviting spot to settle in after busy beach days. We had a wonderful weekend in this fabulous apartment. Lots of useful little extras provided and the most amazing views made it very special. It was very quiet and private too.

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was clean, well equipped with everything we needed and more perfect location to the beach, salt water pool, shops and restaurants. The view over the sea was outstanding and so private. Great secure parking. We cannot rate this property high enough. We will definitely be visiting again!
