Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen with neutral tones, wooden furnishings and a pop of colour on the tiling and feature wall. Also on the ground floor is a convenient utility room, a shower room and a king-size bedroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a family bathroom, a double room, another double with a desk and an additional single bed, and a single room. Enjoy the 2 acres of land with a storage shed, patio area, and a BBQ, plus an enchanting Julian Christian thatched hut with a heater.

Start your day with a dog walk around the grounds to find a meandering stream, tall trees and grassy fields. During your stay in the hamlet of Drumuillie, you could explore the nearby Milton Loch Community Wood (2 miles) and stroll along the River Spey. Another wonderful stay at Pilmuir. House is very comfortable with all the equipment you need for a self-catering break. Lots of birds in the garden, including yellowhammer which we haven't seen for years. Handy for exploring the area.

From the moment we arrived the place felt like home. The lounge was very cosy with the log burner and the bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The property was spotlessly clean and all the beds were really comfy. The location was just fabulous for our stay with Aviemore offering both supermarkets (for when we ate in) and local restaurants for when Read morewe ate out (we found the curry house particularly good!). We cannot recommend Pilmuir enough and will definitely consider staying here again. Hide
