The cottage places you right at the heart of one of Norfolk’s most scenic locations, with walking trails and wide-open landscapes waiting just beyond the front door.

Inside, the lounge is a lovely place to gather in the evenings, whether chatting over the day’s adventures or settling in beside the crackling wood burner during cooler months. A Smart TV adds extra comfort for laid-back nights in. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped for preparing everything from hearty breakfasts to seafood suppers using fresh Norfolk produce, with a coffee machine ready for slow mornings before the next beach walk. A practical utility and boot room is particularly useful for guests travelling with a furry friend, giving you somewhere to leave sandy shoes, coats and walking gear after coastal outings. The ground floor also includes a family shower room. Upstairs, two thoughtfully designed bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements. Wander straight into the parkland surrounding Holkham Hall, keeping an eye out for deer and local wildlife as your faithful hound explores alongside you. A mile away lies the breathtaking stretch of Holkham Beach (dogs on the lead in some areas during the summer), famed for its sweeping sands and dunes, while Wells-next-the-Sea (2 miles) offers colourful beach huts, independent shops and seaside cafes. The charming village of Burnham Market (4 miles) is also close by, with boutique shops and pet-friendly pubs gathered around its attractive green.
