This impressive Manor House is an ideal choice for friends and families seeking a luxurious, unique venue for a celebratory get-together in Dorset. It was our family home for over 28 years and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do. The property is less than a mile to family-friendly Hamworthy Beach, with its iconic beach huts, café, enclosed paddling pool and children’s play area and Poole Quay, here you’ll find ferries to Brownsea Island and the Jurassic Coast, many bars and restaurants in the Old Town, and the newly renovated Poole Museum. Poole’s famous Blue Flag beach, Sandbanks, is just 5.5 miles away. Enjoy miles of golden sand, a beach sauna, and the perfect spot for relaxing, paddling and water sports from paddle boarding to kite surfing. There are plenty of eateries and BBQ areas for picnics. A chain ferry for cars and foot passengers serves the Purbecks for wider explorations. For a quieter day, the historic riverside market town of Wimborne Minster and Kingston Lacy Estate are both within 10 miles. Exploring the Jurassic Coast is a must – iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are only 16 miles away for spectacular views and fossil hunting.

Set over three floors, this spectacular property is rich in distinctive styling, blending quirky, antique and fun features with all your favourite contemporary comforts to create an unforgettable stay. Upon arrival, the gates on the drive open to reveal this magnificent mansion house. Enter via the rear door into the inner hallway and, once inside, you’ll discover charming original features, including exposed wooden ceiling beams, feature fireplaces, and ornate antique furniture. The interior is bold and eclectic, creating uniquely styled spaces throughout. On the ground floor, there are plenty of delightful social spaces, so everyone can find their perfect place to socialise and relax. The contemporary kitchen/dining area has all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze, with a breakfast bar for drinks and socialising. The grand dining hall is ideal for special occasions and celebratory feasts, and the dining table converts to a pool and snooker table. After dinner, relax in the cosy lounge, centred around the impressive inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. Comfortable seating invites you to chat and catch up or watch a film together on the Smart TV. A downstairs snug provides a quieter space for reading or conversation, and the games room will entertain adults and kids alike. The ground floor also includes a handy bathroom. Take the grand staircase to the first floor (note there is an additional staircase to the first and second floors) and find four individually styled bedrooms (three king-size and one double) and a chic family bathroom with a double-Jacuzzi bath. The second floor features three more bedrooms (two king-size and one double), a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, and a separate shower room. This floor also has a second kitchen and a retro cinema room with plenty of comfortable seating.
