I can highly recommend Fassfern Cottage. We stayed in February and although it was bitterly cold outside we were warm. We were given access to logs to use for the open fire which was very effective and cosy in the evenings. The Cottage was also very clean and in a lovely setting. Fassfern Cottage is in a great location with it's easy access to FortRead more William and access to tourist locations such as Glencoe and Glenfinnan. We would definitely book again. Hide

Fassfern House is supremely comfortable & well appointed. The owners have carefully renovated the house with good quality furnishings and fittings making it a very attractive place to spend a holiday. It was immaculately clean & warm when we arrived. This is the 2nd year that we have stayed here & we shall be back again in 2027

Lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage. It has everything you need except a washing machine or dishwasher, as stated in the cottage description. Good communication with the housekeeper - thank you.

The cottage was everything we hoped for - comfortable, warm (at a very cold time of year), spotless and full of highland charm in a wonderful park setting of the old Fassfern manse/estate complex. The wood fire in the living room was easy to light and gave off plenty of heat too, in addition to the central heating (with an ample store of dry firewoRead moreod in the wood shed). The housekeeper was helpful and very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting to the game keepers! All in all, a wonderful stay. Hide

Our group of hillwalkers has used both Fassfern House and Cottage in February for the past 2 years. The place is a delight in all aspects ---particularly the heating in pretty miserable February weather. Cannot recommend the properties highly enough am just about to book again for next year.

An ideal location with huge grounds and lovely river and hill walks from the house, great for groups with dogs. A beautiful house for a large group, we had the cottage as well and there was plenty of room for 15 of us. The house itself was lovely and warm throughout our November weekend stay. Maybe a welcoming tray with tea and coffee? Hide
