Lovely cottage, very well equipped, comfy beds, hot showers, underfloor heating and stunning views. So quiet and peaceful, only sheep for visitors. The 3 mile drive on the single road to get there was an indication of remoteness. Lovely long weekend with friends, all envious of the kitchen, truly the hub of a home.

The property is stunning and location is stunning. Facilities were very good and standard of decor etc was beautiful. Beds were comfy. Only downside was we are all tall so had to do a lot of crouching upstairs with the low ceilings. Also the track down might also be a bit tricky on a frosty day or if it snowed which it did on one day and we were a Read morebit worried we might not get out! But overall very enjoyable stay. Hide

The house is lovely and comfortable, generally well equipped, in particular the beds were very comfortable. The location is beautiful, we drove into Hawick a couple of times, but mostly enjoyed a very relaxing week around the house. The weather was terrible so we weren't able to make use of the external areas but they looked nice from indoors!

A very peaceful location, with only the sound of the burn in the background. Some good places to visit within a reasonable drive, but there is no need to leave as there are walks from the cottage itself, and the garden and conservatory are great to just enjoy the surroundings from. Beds very comfortable and all the fixtures are of good quality

This property initially looked lovely but once in about half an hour I had to clean it. I had to empty other peoples dirt out of the vac cleaner by hand as it was jam packed which wasnt on my list for the weekend neither was scrubbing a filthy high chair.
