Join friends, family, and furry chums for a holiday to remember in this luxurious property on the Cumbrian coast. The holiday home, which sleeps eight guests and two canine pals, is in the seaside village of Silecroft, just 300 metres from the long, sandy beach. The large property has a sociable, open-plan layout and an enclosed outdoor area that's ideal for four-pawed guests. Nearby pet-friendly attractions include the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and Muncaster Castle (both within 15 miles).
The spacious holiday retreat is decorated in a contemporary style and has a fabulous collection of accessories and creature comforts to make you feel at home. The first lounge is a cosy spot to unwind after a long dog walk, with plush, leather sofas to sink into as you watch a movie on the Smart TV. On a chilly day, fire up the wood burner to create a warm dozing spot for the hounds. The vast lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a magnificent roof lantern, flooding the space with natural light. Spend time here, preparing delicious feasts in the sleek kitchen area and sharing memorable mealtimes at the banquet-style dining table. After dinner, retire to the comfortable lounge area to share a bottle of wine and chat about your day. With hard floors and bi-fold doors to the terrace, this room is a good place to set up the dog beds. The property has four elegantly decorated bedrooms, two of which share a Jack-and-Jill shower room. A family bathroom with a free-standing bath completes the accommodation. Outside, dine alfresco on the raised, decked terrace, followed by a soak in the hot tub. The garden is fully enclosed for your canine buddies and private parking for two cars is available.
Head down to the sandy beach, which stretches for almost 3 miles, for a dog walk along the shoreline. Afterwards, refuel in the friendly beach cafe. Another great walk from the village is to the summit of Black Combe, where the coastal views are truly breathtaking. Alternatively, for a more relaxed stroll, stride out along the King Charles III England Coast Path, which passes through the village. Journey 13 miles along the coast to the pretty village of Ravenglass, where you and the dogs can hop aboard a steam train to jaunt through the Eskdale Valley to the foothills of Scafell Pike.
