In Kirriemuir (5.5 miles) you can stock up on food and treats in the supermarket, browse the local shops, and order lunch at the dog-friendly cafe. Visit J. M. Barrie's Birthplace, and kids can play on the Peter Pan Park while pups bound around on the large grassy field beside it. At Glamis Castle (11 miles) the gardens are open to dogs on leads, and there is The Walled Garden, The Italian Garden, and two trails to discover. Further on, take a drive west and wander through the woodland to see the impressive Reekie Linn Waterfall (15 miles).
