All in all a comfortable enough stay , value for money. It can be quite a draughty house when the winds are up but otherwise warm enough. Location decent

We really enjoyed our stay. The school House has lots of character, We appreciated the decor the furniture and the paintings were very much to our liking. The quiet surroundings and the beauty of the area were wonderful. We were blessed to have reasonable weather so were able to enjoy local walks. The bird and squirrel feeders which were kindly Read morefilled up every day made it a pleasure to watch the bird life and the antics of the red squirrel was a joy. The accommodation had everything that we needed and more, a huge collection of books, with a wide range of topics, and a good number of games. Despite being quite rural we had good reception on our mobiles when needed. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable time . Thank you Hide

The cottage is in lovely quiet area, walks from the front door. Enjoyed watching the 2 red squirrels every day and the birds opposite feeding from the feeder. The cottage as everything needed for a stay ,lovely wood burner for those chilly evenings, Peebles is only 8 miles approx , would go back to stay.

We had a lovely holiday , the cottage is quirky, tastefully decorated and in keeping to the charm of a converted old school house. The weather was glorious and the scenery, bird song, peaceful surroundings and plenty of walks straight from the door made it perfect for us. Will return again one day !

We had a lovely week-long stay in the school house. The building itself is stunning and its quirky interior heartwarming. An incredibly beautiful location and in easy reach of exploring further afield made the break away even more special. We enjoyed cosy evenings playing games with the burner lit and spotting bird from the windows in the morning.
