Immerse yourselves in the stunning beauty of Scotland when you and your most faithful friend escape to this gorgeous cottage. Set close to Inversanda, and overlooking Loch Linnhe, the one-bedroom retreat, which sleeps two guests and one canine companion, is ideal for those who enjoy nothing more than being close to nature. Stride out on walks along the shores of the sea loch; go hill walking; even attempt Ben Nevis, 16 miles away, if you and your furry friend are fit enough.

Wander into this Scottish bothy and hang your dog leads in the boot room, which comes with a useful washer/dryer. Follow on through into the impressive, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its vaulted ceiling, skylight windows and glorious views to prepare a tasty bowl for your pal and a romantic dinner for you and your loved one. Dine together, watch the Smart TV and light the wood burner on chilly evenings. When the sun shines, pull open the doors to let Fido stretch his legs. Head off to the king-size bedroom to lay your head and find the shower room conveniently close by. Enjoy the garden as much as possible, soaking up the scenery while keeping an eye on your furry friend as the outside space is not entirely enclosed and there is livestock nearby. You’ll find parking for one car and an electric car charging point at the cottage.

Head 15 miles to Fort William to explore the town and enjoy a meal out in one of the dog-friendly pubs here. From here, walk out across spectacular Glen Nevis, one of the most picturesque of the glens. Take a 2-mile walk beside the River Lundie and through the Leanachan Forest or a 6-mile hike out to historic Dun Deardail fort, thought to have been built in the first millennium BC.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Very peaceful and with view of Loch Linnhe, mountains and red deer in the field in front. The cottage is spacious for two and equipped with everything we needed, with the exception of a few kitchen items. We found the heat pump quite noisy at night, but got used to it over the week. The cottage had incredible views and gave us good access to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula which we wanted. Everything you needed was provided for and a little shop and cafe was 15 mins drive away in Strontian. Harvey was a great host and provided information on lots of things to do during our stay. A beautiful area which we will no doubt return to.

This is undoubtedly a lovely property. The views are fantastic. But we didnt love our stay here and have had better stays elsewhere for a lot less money. Its definitely geared more toward their business needs than your needs as a guest and feeling welcome. If you book here, be prepared for the late check in, early check out and bring everything youRead more might need for your first evening at least plus extra loo roll and any baking equipment. We loved this cottage and really bonded with it as a property. My partner and I loved sitting out on the patio and painting while watching the sheep and the beautiful light. The quiet, the view, and the amenities are all top notch, and I really want to come back!
