Wonderful and lovely cottage with all comfort. Firewood has to be bought during the cold season. The living room wasn't warm enough without wood. Firewood is not always available in the neighboring village. When we arrived, the pub and the caf were closed. We got the firewood in Inverness. You arrive Inverness in 45 minutes, it's a nice City. A beautiful setting. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen (utensils, saucepans, crockery, glassware, cutlery). It got a bit chilly at night, but the heaters were very efficient. The off-road parking was excellent, and it was lovely to make use of the outdoor seating. There were useful maps and brochureRead mores available. We had a wonderful week and strongly recommend both the cottage and the environs - there's a lot to see and visit, and some great walks. Hide

Its a beautiful quaint cottage situated in a lovely quiet village in a rural part of Scotland. Plenty of nice walks with the dog. In a good place to visit other parts of Scotland around Inverness. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable.

As soon as we walked in the front door it felt warm and welcoming. The cottage is well equipped, the kitchen having everything we needed. The cosy sitting room has an inset wood burning stove which we were glad of on chilly October evenings. The beds are comfortable and having a bathroom and shower room is a bonus. It's a comfortable base for outdoRead moreor activities. The cottage is in an area of great natural beauty and historical interest, with the spectacular Plodda Falls just 3.5miles away. Hide

Swallow Cottage was absolutely lovely! The cottage was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Tomich was a great location as a base for munro bagging in Glen Affric, Kintail and beyond. There are delightful local walks too. Also, the local pub and cafe are welcome options to have available so nearby. We had a wonderful holiday!

Fantastic 2 weeks, even the weather was great. The cottage was lovely and well equiped. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There's plenty of places to walk but make sure you stock up on food as the pub meals were expensive but not worth the cost.
