We stayed here for a week and it was just perfect. We based ourselves here to do trips around the highlands, and it really was a home away from home. The cottage and garden are so lovely, and after a day of adventures we could cosy up in the living room, or head to the local pub for a little dram. Dave was very helpful at checkin too. The cottage is well-located for amenities and walks. The pleasant, enclosed garden is perfect for your pooch to explore safely. The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfect for a short break. Having a caretaker on hand is reassuring.

Cawdor Cottage is a fantastic place. It's a home from home. It has everything you need. On our arrival there was a bottle of wine and a jar of jam which was a lovely touch. The cottage is a 5 minute walk away from the shops and the canal. We had a dog with us, so the fenced garden was perfect. Seska enjoyed chasing the rabbits. David the caretaker Read morewas at hand to help with any issues and gave us tips on what to do and see. It was our first time in the Highlands but it won't be our last. Hide
