This is a fantastic property with or without dogs but especially if you bring your pet with you. It was immaculately clean and very comfortably furnished with throws provided for the couches should your pet be as spoiled as ours and like the comfort of a couch to snooze on. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for eating and dRead morerinking, there was washing up liquid, dishwasher and washing tablets provided as well as tea cloth and hand towel. The bedroooms were all well proportioned and comfortable, we chose to sleep upstairs which has an en suite, the only drawback to this was that the room was incredibly bright in the mornings as it is more of a mezzanine room and the hall window doesnt have a curtain or blind on it. The cottage is only 7 minutes from Dunvegan where there are nice restaurants, I can recommend the Misty, the pizzas were amazing, and a well stocked village shop as well as the castle and its gardens. Although the cottage is on the main road it is set well back with a secure perimeter fence which allowed us to let our dog explore the large garden by herself without worrying that she might escape. It is a minutes walk to the shore of the loch where you can see seals and lots of birds, there are sheep in the access field but you are fine to walk through it as long as your dog is on the lead until you get to the shore. All in all a very welcoming, comfortable and homely cottage, we all felt so at home that we are planning to return either this year or next year to explore more of Skye ! Hide

Lovely spacious cottage with amazing views. The outside of the cottage could do with a bit of freshing up, a bit if paint or flowers or something. It's not neglected though, the grass in the garden was freshly mowed and the inside was very clean.

Great garden for the dog to run around in. We asked a neighbour for advice on how to get to the shoreline and the dog loved paddling about down there. Maybe a wee note explaining how to get to the shore would be helpful (in the absence of the friendly neighbour). I need a stick to walk with, so having a downstairs bedroom & bathroom was ideal. The cottages location is fantastic. A few minutes drive from the amenities at Dunvegan. Located on an arterial road so it was great for exploring the island without long detours. Worth noting we werent bothered by any traffic sound and could enjoy the outdoor space. The hot water didnt work for most of the time we stayed at the beginning of June. TRead morehe property caretaker was responsive when we made him aware of the issues and organised a tradesman - unfortunately the issue kept recurring. Hide

Translation - A beautiful holiday home with a wonderful view of the loch and the mountains. Our dog felt very comfortable in the large, fenced garden. We brought a coffee maker and a frying pan. Cosy cottage with spectacular ocean view. Well nested in Ose with all you need for a home stay during your vacation. Internet speed at 18MB/sec allowed to stay connected as minimal mobile phone reception is only available in certain parts of location. The garden is fenced and well taken care of as well.

Decent cottage and plenty big enough fir the sleep 6 rating. It's clean, has decent furniture, it's warm enough but the bathroom may struggle in winter as the floor is quite cold. The property is set back from a main A road so there is a bit of passing traffic, parking is fine. We didn't find anywhere to eat out within 10 miles and the nearest shopRead more is miles away. The only negatives I can say is outside needs a bit of maintenance, the TV performs a balancing act and could easily fall off. Hide
