If soaking in an outdoor hot tub while absorbing fantastic views sounds like your kind of holiday, stay at this rural property near Clovelly in beautiful Devon. With space for up to nine people plus a doggie guest too, this property located on a working farm is ideal for a large family celebration or group trip among friends. Children and adults alike will love observing activities being carried out by the owners – even a tractor ride is on the cards. And the dog is bound to give the wag of approval to the many wonderful walks starting from right outside the front door.

Beautifully decorated with wooden furniture and carefully chosen artwork, this accommodation has a homely, traditional feel. The huge lounge/diner is a lovely space for relaxing as a group, either resting on the sofas with a book or enjoying leisurely meals at the table. The wood burner-effect electric fire will keep you all nice and toasty – and is the perfect spot for your pet to doze off dreaming of giant scones with extra clotted cream. In the huge garden, sip coffee as you watch the dog run around happily. As you relax, the children will have a blast in the impressive play area, which includes a trampoline, fireman’s pole and swings.

The house is just outside the village of Horns Cross where you’ll find a traditional dog-friendly pub (0.5 miles). When it’s time to take the pet for a scenic workout, take a short stroll to Peppercombe Beach (1 mile) or head further afield along the South West Coastal Path. This stretch of coastline is part of the Hartland Heritage Coast, a rural paradise featuring rugged cliffs and spectacular views. In Clovelly (6 miles), wander down cobbled streets before heading for lunch at one of this fishing village’s dog-friendly cafes.

This is a tried and tested farmhouse which we have returned to over many years. It's ideal as a multigenerational family property and our grandsons are already looking forward to next year. Linda and Mike are regarded as extended family members. We all had a super holiday.

We have just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Farmhouse. A lovely property with really friendly owners. We used it as a base for 4 families of young people with learning disabilities and it was excellent for our needs. We had a great stay at West Goldsworthy Farm. As a party of 9 with 4 children aged 6 to 2 it was perfect. So many children activities in the garden plus an amazing hot tub together with the fun of being on a working farm.. Mike and Linda are super kind/friendly hosts and one of the highlights for the kiddies was a tractor ride with Mike. The owners were very friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much. Lovely place and location, I would recommend it. Considering it is a working farm there was very little noise, it was peaceful and tranquil.

A much needed relaxing break. The cottage is spacious and views spectacular, especially from the hot tub that we used every night. Great place for relaxing and the children loved the animals . Its great to go to a place and be treated like family, we felt very welcomed by the owners and our granddaughter had a tractor ride.

This was a true, farm-based holiday experience, which the whole family enjoyed. The accommodation was clean and immediately felt like home - the large lounge area was amazing and easily fitted all 8 of our party. Love love love this place. Its my third stay with Mike and Linda and its always wonderful. They are so friendly and accommodating and the property is perfect for a mix of people. Garden and amenities are spot on for families. So easy to get to some wonderful beaches from this destination too.

Excellent location. Very helpful and responsive owners. Both Linda and Mike were very friendly and had so much helpful information which helped us to plan local day trips.
