Lovely little cottage with everything you need. Great to have a log fire on a cool evening although the central heating is good. The surrounding countryside is great for walking and cycling. We had a relaxing and very enjoyable week. Thank you.

Not only is the cottage absolutely beautiful- interior design to die for - but the private den provided the best place we walked in Scotland.

Square Cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described rustic, charming, and full of character. The working log fire made the evenings extra special, and the quaint old-fashioned kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The setting in the Angus countryside was exceptional peaceful, scenic, and truly relaxing. Our host, DRead moreot, was wonderful: warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. We would highly recommend it. Hide

Lovely house. We liked that it felt 'old-fashioned' for instance a non-fitted kitchen. It helped us to imagine the castle retainers who had lived there for generations. Magnificent location. We were fortunate that we were there whilst the castle was unoccupied so we could enjoy the near estate almost as if it was all ours. Brilliant time to come asRead more the leaves were turning. A pretty, spacious, 4-person cottage in the immaculately kept grounds of Airlie Castle estate. Well heated and with an open log fire: a blissful, bucolic retreat.
