  • Dog friendly accommodation with plenty of local walks from the front door
  • One mile to nearby Wiseman's bridge, with it's popular beach and seaside bar restaurant
Property code: OC-91799

A beautifully presented lodge set in a popular holiday park just 1 mile from Wiseman's Bridge, one of the many peaceful coastal hamlets dotted along the South Pembrokeshire coast. The dog-friendly lodge features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, versatile bedrooms and a wraparound decked area. It is just the place for a family holiday by the sea, with easy access to the likes of Saundersfoot and Tenby.

Set in Heritage Park, this single-storey lodge is deceptively large, its naturally lit rooms offering a welcoming ambience that puts guests at ease the moment they enter the hallway. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers guests on two and four paws a place to unwind, eat good food and enjoy each other's company. An en-suite double bedroom and a twin bedroom are only a few paw prints down the hallway, both are light and airy and promise hours of restful sleep. Guests on two legs can recharge their batteries further with a blast in the family bathroom when morning comes. Outside, the wraparound decked area comes into its own on sunny days and is a lovely setting for al fresco drinks and people-watching.

Heritage Park is just 1 mile from Wiseman's Bridge, a coastal hamlet that can be reached on foot via an old ironworks railway line. The footpath leads all the way to Saundersfoot (2.5 miles) a charming seaside village brimming with dog-friendly shops, pubs and cafes. Parts of Tenby's beaches (6 miles) welcome dogs all year round, and this historic town's winding streets have long welcomed dog-owning families.

Lovely comfortable lodge on a very quiet site. Short walk down track to Wisemans Bridge beach and pub. Could do with more crockery and teaspoons (only 4 provided). Be sure to take essentials with you like tea coffee toilet rolls. Nearest supermarket in Kilgetty a 5 minute drive away. We were a group of 4 adults and were only given 3 bath towels aRead morend 1 hand towel!. This was probably an error made by housekeeping. Had a great few days and would definitely book again. Hide

Perfect for grandson and myself - plenty of space - good tv and internet - a choice of books to read - I donated another one. The Friday to Friday let also helped with the travelling - easier to navigate congestion points eg Carmarthen and Chester.

Needs a good clean nice location to walk to Wisemans...take your shopping though as no shop near. One car park space by lodge only and very tight roads on park other car had to go on car park not a problem for me but people who struggle to walk far it could be issue.
