Set in South Devon, this romantic retreat for two, plus one favourite hound, looks out on Brixham’s breakwater towards Lyme Bay. Ancient fishermens’ cottages line the harbour, while narrow streets and a variety of atmospheric cafes and restaurants serve fresh seafood from the popular Brixham Fish Market. The harbour is home to a heritage fishing fleet, and visitor tour boats. It’s the ideal spot for a morning dog walk along the beach and breakwater, while pubs, shops and amenities are all within walking distance. Parking is available in public car parks.

Step inside your holiday apartment and take a flight of stairs to the first floor open-plan living and dining room with breathtaking sea views from the window seat, by a large picture window. Relax on the sofa with your favourite hound, and enjoy films together on the TV and DVD. If you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen has everything you’ll need for delicious meals. Take cottage-style steep stairs up to the cosy double bedroom. Outside, you’ll find public gardens nearby, and the town’s half-mile breakwater for pup-loving morning jaunts.

Enjoy the delights of this charming harbour town which boasts a sub-tropical climate, making it ideal for gardens, vineyards, and outdoor fun. Discover Brixham’s past at the Brixham Heritage Museum (1 mile). Visit the Golden Hind - a replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship in Brixham Harbour where dogs on leads are welcome. Visit Babbacombe Model Village (10.5 miles) where pups on leads can enjoy four acres of miniature gardens and figurines including dog models. With that new sense of height, your pup will be keen to also board the Babbacombe Cliff Railway nearby which offers spectacular views.

We cannot recommend this apartment enough. The view was absolutely incredible from the lounge and bedroom! It was in a great location only 10 min walk into the harbour. The apartment was spacious and very clean with everything you need. We cannot wait to come back again!

Absolutely loved the apartment and Brixham itself. As everyone else has said, just the most amazing views from the living room window - our dog spent his whole time in the window seat watching the birds. Fantastic location for both the harbour and town as well as for walks over to Fishcombe Cove and Paignton. Managed to park outside/very near apartRead morement the whole time. Many great friendly pubs in Brixham. We particularly liked the Crown and Anchor for its local feel. Hide

The location and the view from this apartment are both fabulous. Its located in a quiet residential road in a really attractive part of town. Parking is on-street but we had no problems parking very nearby, despite it being the half-term holidays. Its a steep walk down to the harbour through some lovely, interesting streets. The bed is very comfortRead moreable and the whole apartment warm and bright. There are lots of nearby green spaces for dog walking. Beware very steep internal stairs though!! Hide

Fantastic views from the cottage, had a slight problem with the shower, was sorted that day cannot fault the swift response. Would definitely go again and recommend to family and friend's.

A excellent apartment to take in the panoramic views. Very steep steps to the bedroom take a little getting used to but worth it. A great lounge and kitchen but a small toilet with snug door. It was a lovely property with a stunning view of the harbour. Hours coukd br spent on the window seat watching the world go by. Saw a couple of seals in the harbour! A nice touch for the owners to leave binoculars for guests to use. Ideal location for walking into the town and the South West path. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very comfortable and stylish property in a beautiful cliff top location with stunning views of the open sea and the harbour housing fishing boats. You can spend hours watching the trawlers and the activity of the fish market from the comfortable window seat that has lovely cushions. The stairs to the bedroom are very steep and the parkingRead more a lottery but the closeness to the town, walks both ways to Fishcombe Cove and Breakwater Beach ( both with a place to eat ) make up for this.
