The house was very tastefully decorated and vases of fresh flowers a nice touch. We appreciated the generous welcome pack as well. Gavinton is well placed to explore Berwickshire and its impressive collection of stately homes, Mellerstain being our favourite. The guided tour was exceptional. A lovely restful week in a very pleasant cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay. The welcome basket of "goodies" for Marron ( our Whippet) and us was a wonderful gesture and very thoughtful. The cottage had loads of thoughtful extras and is just round the corner from a very well maintained small park which we made good use of. The cycling, walking and golf in the area was a pleasure. Thank You.
