The cottage is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of Doune . However we were disappointed with the kitchen equipment. The fridge freezer and microwave are both small, the oven only had one shelf, frying pans were scratched and non stick coatings were coming off. As a group of 4 adults we had to cook in relays. There are a lot ofRead more net curtains throughout the property with many of them stained and dirty. The beds are old and mattresses uncomfortable and some furnishings tired. Hide

Lovely quirky and spacious cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Very secure enclosed garden for our tiny dog to explore. The cottage is in an ideal location - central to great places to visit. The owners were very welcoming and the beds were clean and fresh - the bathrooms too. This is a really quirky property, and that gives it its charm. The location could not have been better. The cottage was really comfortable, clean and spacious. It was in a beautiful setting, and an excellent location for many sights. The local village had good facilities for eating out. Another benefit for us was the many very attractive local walks, meaning we could leave the car at the property and just set off.
