The village of Cupar Muir is close to the thriving town of Cupar (2 miles) and the famous St Andrews (11 miles). Dogs are welcome in the play area at Cairnie Fruit Farm (3 miles), along the woodland walk around Kellie Castle (15.5 miles) and throughout the estate and gardens of Hill of Tarvit (3.5 miles).

The property has everything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped with 2 dishwashers and 3 owens! A dream family and friends holiday - lots of books, boardgames, dvds and toys for the little ones. Lots of social spaces to hang out and the fact that the bedrooms were in a separate section of the house was very handy for those wanting to go to bed Read moreearlier. 5 min drive from the train station and Lidl but secluded enough for privacy and peace and quiet. Muirfield House is an outstanding property. So warm and comfortable. Lots of space for relaxing and has a wonderful garden full of lovely plants and flowers. A lovely property with all the touches needed for a luxury weekend break or longer. The room configuration was good and the living space was much bigger than expected from looking at the photos. The garden was vast and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the two dishwashers were useful.

There were 11 family members, age range from 4 to 88, celebrating a 60th birthday at Muirfield house and 3 dogs. The house was perfect, loads of room, all on the flat, which was great for my mum at 88, not having to worry about stairs. A wonderful home with a fantastic living space and garden. Quality fixture and fittings with comfortable beds. We were a family of ten and the rooms in the house were spacious enough that we never felt on top of one another. We enjoyed some lovely walks from the house - the location was perfect.

Muirfield House is very well situated close to lots of activities from St Andrews aquarium which our wee ones loved, to the Peat Inn for the foodies in our group. The house is very well equipped and immaculately clean. The house was very clean , spacious and well equipped and we had a wonderful family holiday here. Theres lots of space, the garden and summer house were good for the children and the ping pong table got lots of use! This is a really good base for the area. There are lots of nice beaches in the area and St Andrews is a very easy drive away.
