Bound inside to find a games room, where members of your party can challenge each other to a pool tournament, and you can whiz any doggy towels through the washer/dryer after wet walks. This room can become a king-size bedroom instead of a games room if requested. There’s a room for bicycles and dog beds close by too. Feed hungry hounds in the kitchen/diner and prepare hearty holiday feasts for everyone else too. Climb the open-tread stairs up to the first-floor lounge, with its vaulted ceiling, and watch TV as the dogs doze. When you’re tired, make your way to either the king-size bedroom, the double or the bunk bedroom with its high beds. The family bathroom is here too. Take your four-legged friends out into the garden, being sure to watch them and any small children carefully as they move between levels. Dine on the deck as you take in the views and the pups savour the fresh air. There is parking for two cars, with additional space possibly available.
Make trips to the beach at Ravenglass, 6 miles away, where your happy hounds can leave paw prints all year round. Drive 6 miles to Wastwater to undertake the scenic 8-mile loop of the lake. Stretch furry legs with a wander along the banks of the River Esk, where you can stop to let your pals paddle in the water.
