Location absolutely beautiful. Very quiet. The cottage was clean and comfortable and a lovely view of Loch Earn from the front window. Lots of different walking routes around the area which was great as we took our two dogs with us, so we all had plenty of exercise. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked again for next year .

Overall liked the cottage with a lovely view across the Loch and lovely walks to be had. If we had wanted to eat out, the hotels seemed very limited(could be just the time of year). Cottage was well equipped and the heating arrangements were adequate. Could have done with some kitchen roll for spills and better washing up liquid( it may have said Read moreFairy on the label-BUT!). Although very clean needs a little TLC-paintwork and the bathroom a bit tired looking and a hand rail essential for getting in and out the bath to use the shower. Outside the grounds need tidied up(weeds mainly) and the fence needed a bit of repair and a coat of paint. The road outside was very uneven(and muddy). Hide

Amazing view from the window and loads of walks from the door. Fairly standard equipment in the kitchen and certainly enough to knock up a few meals. LED electric stove was an excellent piece of equipment on the cold nights.

Comfy cosy clean cottage in stunning location. The cottage is warm and has everything required for an enjoyable stay. There are plenty of local walks and shops and other facilities are a short drive away. The owners have left a folder with an enormous amount of information about the cottage/cabin and surrounding area. Highly recommend.

St Fillans is a beautiful location and the lodge has a stunning view, made better for us as we got extremely lucky with the weather. It was warm and sunny for our 2 week holiday. For us, this lodge was ideal. Its compact but we didnt feel cramped, and kitchen set up was fine to cook simple meals. Local walks for the dog, 2 hotels with super dog friendly bars in walking distance. We really enjoyed the food at Achray House It was lovely to look out the living room window and see the loch and the hills.
