Had a lovely stay with my dog. A great location for walkers exploring Ullswater, Keswick, Helvellyn and surrounding areas. It is close to a busy main road, has no internet and very limited signal but that was all clear before booking so wasn't an issue.

Noise from the A66 can be heard but not a major distraction. Lovely little self contained cottage ideal for exploring the Lakes.

Hillcrest is a lovely little cottage, perfect for a couple, or a couple with a small child. The fire was alight when I arrived, so the cottage was warm and welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent and my stay was very enjoyable.

Very cosy little cottage ideal for a couple and a small dog. The place was immaculate all throughout. The view was lovely especially as we had great weather. Parking was a big help as you can leave your car right outside the door on driveway. There is also a big garden to share for your pet and a lane outside with virtually no traffic so perfect foRead morer dogs. The wood burner was superb too. Used it one day on a very wet and cool evening. Flowers were a lovely touch. Thank you Dawn. Great week! Hide

Warm welcome and lovely clean cottage with everything we needed for a comfotable weekend away. No wifi but a slight phone signal from the garden gave enough when needed. Would return again if we wanted to be in the North of the Lakes as it was handy to get to Keswick , Ullswater and Penrith all quite near.

We enjoyed our holiday very much. The only thing that I misjudged when booking was the closeness to the busy A66 . Other than that..no complaints.
