The cottage has lovely views from the rear and the ever-changing light on Pendle Hill is a delight. We found the cottage very comfortable and the owners friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Parking can be slightly awkward and may be a bit of a squeeze for anyone with a large vehicle. The sitting out area seemed rather bare and not very Read moreenticing . Overall, though, a pleasant place to stay in a quiet and peaceful location.

Response from Holiday Cottages - Thank you for your feedback. Parking accommodates two cars. We are sorry the weather didnt allow you to fully enjoy the outdoor area and the glorious views.

Lovely property, quiet peaceful location. Views are absolutely stunning. Owners were lovely and could not do enough to help....Ideal base for sightseeing and walking, village is very pretty and the pub looked very inviting, we just did not have enough time to sample everything.

Owners live next door and were very helpful. The cottage is a nice size and the location is good for walking to pubs. You can dog walk from the door but it wasn't as dog friendly due to the stiles requiring us to lift our dog over quite a few of them. The central heating is controlled via the owners, although they did respond quickly. but here is aRead more heater in the lounge and bedroom. Hide

The view, the view, the view - it will take your breathe away. Owners live next door should you need anything. Tip: if you are coming from afar, remember your teabags/milk etc
