Ideally situated for exploring the Lake District and the Cumbria coastline, this light-filled property is perfect for families and couples seeking a spacious, relaxing retreat. Taking its name from the Maori word for ‘welcome’, this tastefully furnished and refreshingly decorated property also features a charming garden over two levels.
The main lounge/diner is to the rear of the property occupying a light and airy extension to the original building. With a Smart TV, DVD, Bluetooth speaker and plenty of seating, the lounge is a relaxing space for unwinding. The bungalow also has two fresh and cosy bedrooms: a pretty double with a TV, and a cheerful twin, as well as a family bathroom with a double-ended bath and walk-in shower. From the lounge, French doors open onto the landscaped garden. The lower level has a patio with outdoor furniture, providing a charming spot for a morning coffee. Seven steps lead up to the lawn on the upper level, with further seating and a range of bedding plants. You’re welcome to help yourself to some of the raspberries, rhubarb, mint and cherries growing here when in season.
