Beautifully decorated and charmingly furnished, this relaxing retreat lies close to Bollington Green and makes a great base for walkers and nature lovers enjoying the region’s glorious woodlands, historic buildings, and magical countryside.

Entering this inviting cottage, you will be greeted by a light and airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The characterful lounge has ample seating, a Smart TV and a crackling wood burner set in a stylish fireplace – perfect for a quiet evening in together. There’s also a central breakfast bar and a fully equipped, beautifully arranged kitchen. Upstairs, you will find a refreshing shower room and two cheerful, relaxing bedrooms – a sweet double room and a cosy bunk bedroom. Stepping outside, the shared courtyard has a private seating area, providing a relaxing spot for a morning coffee or a drink in the evening with your four-legged friends lying back in the sun.

Bollington has a range of great places to eat and drink, with the historic Grade II-listed White Nancy overlooking the town and making a great destination for a tranquil walk. There are miles of walks to enjoy with your dogs, with the Macclesfield Canal passing close by. To the south is the thriving town of Macclesfield (4 miles), and to the east you and your canine pals can explore the stunning vistas of the Peak District National Park (1 mile), with the nearby Lamaload Reservoir (4 miles) offering a secluded, circular route.

Great location, very clean and comfortable

The cottage was very clean and well decorated. It had all the bits and bobs you would need. However the outside sitting area is a disgrace all overgrown with weeds and a view of all the rubbish and bins outback. Needs a tidy up and a trellis round the sitting atea. The bed needs replacing as it is lumpy and very uncomfortable. These 2 things spoiltRead more a great little cottage in a lovely location. Great cottage in a good location. Despite being on the high street not too noisy. Parking always available in the car park across the road.

Lovely cottage for a couple or a family with two small children. Compact but cosy and well laid out. Great location with loads of places to eat close by. Free car park across the road. Lots of countryside, Macclesfield Canal and Middlewood Way (lovely walkway along disused railway line) all nearby. Silk Museum and Paradise Mill in Macclesfield alsoRead more worth visiting. Had great tour there and saw the Jacquard loom in action. Half hourly bus from Bollington saves taking the car. Hide

The property was very clean, I loved the deco which made me feel relaxed and at home. This was truly a very relaxing get away for me. I had planned to complete some urgent work and needed to get away from day to day, i must say I was too relaxed that I didn't quite complete all my goals.
