This was a lovely property in a gorgeous location. We were a group of six adults and had a great time, lots of walking, in beautiful peaceful nature. We were a group of six adults and found the house delightful and very spacious. The direct access onto the balcony with some shelter from the odd light shower and with fabulous views was certainly a bonus. All bedrooms are a good size and the decor throughout is bright and modern. The owner was available if needed, and sent suggestions for places Read moreto go and things to see. There was a relatively minor issue which was raised with the owner and was happily resolved within an hour or so. We did lovely walks in both directions from the house and the Colintraive Hotel is about 50 metres from the front door, they serve lovely food and have friendly, helpful staff. Overall this is a lovely house in a fabulous location. Hide

Fantastic, plenty of space, board games and Play Station available. The view from the balcony from dawn till dark was dynamite. Facilities couldn't have been better right down to recommendations for local attractions from the property owner.

A great spot for a family reunion. Very spacious and the views of the Kyles of Bute were amazing along with the sheep. Plenty of hot water and bathroom/showers. Spacious bedrooms. Also appreciated being able to bring our dog on holiday too. Lots to explore in this part of Scotland and Bute was only a few moments away on the ferry which was within aRead more stones throw of the house. The hotel was good for food, but not such a great place for drinks as the bar was not very welcoming. We so enjoyed our daily walks along through Colintraive and exploring around Loch Fyne and Loch Awe also. Hide

Patricia made sure we had all we needed in this very comfortable and roomy house beside the beautiful island of Bute. The large basket of logs was particularly appreciated so that we could enjoy the log burner. The locals in the friendly pub could not have been more welcoming and we had an excellent meal there. Good local walks, a great beach at EtRead moretrick Bay and the Bute gin distillery in Rothesay were all part of our wonderful holiday experience. Thank you. Hide

Beautiful views over to Rothesay and local area amazing. But for being a luxury cottage there is alot of not so luxury. In need of matching dishes, cooker needs attention, bedding got marks, carpets marked, shower cubical door didn't shut, towel rail broken. A lovely property in quiet and ideal location.Local pub is a real bonus - dont miss out! We were a group of 7 aged pensioners 67-84 years old. The main lounge/kitchen is on the 1st floor. As described an upstairs/downstairs property, dont underestimate the stairs, as they, for some could be a challenge on arrival with lots of bags of food!
