This was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Loved watching the horses in the field and swallows swooping nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at The Coach House. The location is perfect if you love peace, quiet and nature, and there are some beautiful walks from the doorstep. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the decking and watching the swallows, horses, foals, sheep and lambs. A great cottage in a beautiful location. It is equipped with everything essential, dog friendly, comfortable bed and lovely walks straight from the doorstep. Very peaceful but only 7 miles from supermarkets. Lovely to see newborn lambs appearing in the fields next to the cottage during our stay. Hosts were on hand if needed and very welcoming. My wife and I found this a great place to stay. The cottage is comfortable and peaceful, hosts very pleasant and helpful. The road next to which it is located is has very little traffic, perhaps a couple of vehicles per hour during the rush hour! We like walking and the cottage is ideally located for this, either on the quiet roads or across fieldsRead more and through woods. The nearby village of Denholm has a very good Italian restaurant and a couple of pubs that do food. Hide
