This detached spacious bungalow with magnificent mountain views is the perfect base to make the most of the stunning countryside and time spent with your favourite people and pups. Bring the whole family – this property sleeps five humans and two canines. Stretch everyone’s legs around Loch Tay (12 miles) before returning to your beautiful home-from-home to dust off muddy paws and boots and warm up around the electric stove with a hot chocolate.

Relax on the sofa and enjoy the uninterrupted mountain views, with a content pooch sprawled out at your feet. Head into the large open-plan kitchen/diner and rustle up a tasty meal. Enjoy it around the solid wood table and follow dinner with a wee dram of Scottish Whisky to toast to the view through the French doors. When the day is done, rest weary legs in one of the three neutrally decorated bedrooms and wake refreshed to enjoy a coffee on the decked area whilst Fido sniffs around the fully enclosed garden. On warmer days, dine alfresco in the secluded garden and in the evening, spot stars in the clear night’s sky.

Let Fido take the lead on a walk around Tay Forest Park (10 miles), a varied patchwork of forests showcasing the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire, with some of Scotland’s tallest trees and magnificent views. Hike to the summit of Ben Chonzie (14.5 miles) and take in the panoramic vistas, or venture into the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park (24.5 miles) and sniff every smell, fetch every stick and walk as far as your two or four legs will take you.

Riddlesdown is a well presented, clean, comfortable cottage, in a fantastic setting surrounded by Grouse Moors and farmland. It is well equipped with everything you'd need for your stay. It is a credit to its owners. The gardens are great for dogs. A good size with lots for them to explore, whilst remaining secure all round. There is plenty of walRead moreking from the doorstep, or a short drive away. Amulree is a quiet Hamlet with none of its own amenities, but Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and Crieff , are a short drive away to top up on provisions, or Tesco will deliver direct. There's lots to see and do within this area of Scotland, and Riddlesdown provides the idea base to start and end your day. The local bird population create a relaxing ambience in the garden morning and evening!! We couldn't fault this accommodation and it was well worth the trip from Cornwall for us and our 2 dogs Hide

Had a great week at Riddlesdown Cottage. Very comfortable and clean, a place you could really relax in, kitchen well equipped. The enclosed garden was loved by our dog. Loved the amount and variety of birds who visited us too and also spotted a few birds of prey. Would definately reccommend.

Great base for touring & exploring the immediate area. The house was like home from home. Kitchen was very well equipped. Our only issue was a personal one, the mattress was too hard.

Lovely cottage in beautiful and peaceful location. Great walks from door. Many places to visit. Birks of Aberfeldy, The Hermitage, Pitlochry to name but a few. The walk from Pitlochry to Killicranke past the Linn of Tummel is well worth the effort. Really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunate we had to leave early due to Storm Amy but hope to be back.

We had a very relaxing stay. Riddlesdown was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a stress free stay. It is genuinely the only dog friendly cottage that we have stayed in that has no exclusion areas for the dogs. There was great communication from the owner's and there are walks available right from the door.
