The River Severn is just steps from the property, on river walks you are treated to sweeping views of the open landscape and, at certain times, a glimpse of the famous Severn Bore. Perfectly placed, there are plenty of attractions for walkers and cyclists in the surrounding area, including in the Forest of Dean, 7 miles away, with routes suitable for all ages and abilities. Children will love spending a day at Puzzlewood, less than 10 miles away, where you can hop on the Dean Forest Railway or, if you are feeling adventurous, Go Ape! For underground adventure, head to Clearwell Caves; for picturesque waterside walks or kayaking, head to Symonds Yat, both within 16 miles.
