The Shropshire Hills National Landscape is easily accessible for walking, affording wonderful views. Or the local market town of Knighton is 9.5 miles away and marks the midway point of the 177-mile Offa’s Dyke Path national trail. For culture and history, Powis Castle and Gardens (21.5 miles) is a NT property – a Grade II-listed medieval castle and gardens with fascinating artefacts. Dogs are allowed in some areas and the grounds.
