The light and bright kitchen has everything you could need for cooking up a feast, whilst the dining table is the perfect spot to share stories over plates of piping hot food. Home to an open-plan design, the lounge/diner allows the family to sit back and relax after a day exploring the locale, while your dogs embrace the opportunity for a few belly scratches in front of the wood burner. Whether you lose yourself in the pages of a book for a while or all gather around a film, the choice is yours. With two bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone to get ready in the morning and two comfortable bedrooms offer respite at the end of the day. Outside a beautifully manicured garden and seating area are perfect for al fresco celebrations.

One of its many advantages, the cottage enjoys lots of pretty walks right on its doorstep. You won’t have to go far to lose yourself amongst rolling fields and dappled hedgerows and your dogs will have a ball discovering and rediscovering this new playground. Heading further afield, Dartmoor National Park is around 4 miles away and host to a myriad of footpaths and cycling trails.

Lovely warm cottage, ideal as a base for exploring South Devon and Dartmoor. Huge, comfy bed. Lots of hot water for a bath or shower. Great utility room for storing walking gear. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed to make meals. Friendly, helpful owners next door with two gorgeous spaniels. We would definitely return!

Had a lovely weeks stay. Cottage is comfortable, very clean and is very well equipped. Theres a lovely garden too. We had everything we needed. Owners who live adjacent are very friendly. We have stayed in many cottages and the large bed was extremely comfortable for us. Good location for exploring all of South Devon. We would return.

This is our 2nd holiday at the cottage and would definitely go again, it is in an ideal location with a short drive to the coastline and forestry areas especially ideal if you have dogs. The cottage was very well equipped & comfortable, there was everything we needed. It was a hot week so we really appreciated the stone walls of the cottage to keep us cool. The garden was stunning & it was lovely o be able to use it, our dog loved it too. It was down a narrow lane however we got used to that! Very comfortable cottage. Close to A38 for travelling around the area. Lovely house with massive garden which is shared by the owners and their dogs. A little stream running through. Two bedrooms with comfy beds and upstairs and downstairs bathrooms which is useful. Carol and David gave us a nice welcome and were available if needed.
