Great location loved the tub but a bit let down by the host- phoned Sally for location advice etc she was blunt and annoyed as we hadn't received the welcome text from the property manager. An oven was listed in amenities online, so we bought food to bake. We realise there is no oven on day 2, so we contact Sally. No response for remainder of 6 dayRead more trip. So we thought to use the "BBQ coal firepit" as listed, no coal so we purchased some, only to find it had a hole so couldn't keep a fire going. Hide

Beautiful location and well-built Shepherds Hut, but poor communication and preparation let it down. Rigid check-in/out times, an unready jacuzzi, unclear need for extra logs, no signage, slow responses, and missing details like the Wi-Fi code made things inconvenient. A welcome booklet would help.

The inside was lovely clean and well equipped, the location was really nice with beautiful view, but the out side was unloved and untidy with now where to really sit and the parking was a fair walk

The Shepherds hut was perfect. Location was perfect, only negative for me and it didnt happen to me is that if the weather was wetter in my car not a 4x4 I might have struggled getting to the parking location. However it was fairly dry and wasnt an issue.

My husband, our dog, and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my husbands birthday, and it was exactly what we needed! The location is stunning and feels wonderfully secluded with no one around yet a pub was close enough for us to walk too and from. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub, and the enclosed garden allowed our dog to be oRead moreutside with us, which was a huge plus. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning! Hide
