Westward Ho! Beach is a marvellous Devonshire beauty spot that’s just 1.5 miles from home. With some pet restrictions, you can let your four-pawed pals run free anywhere on the sand throughout the off-season or in the zone by Sandymere (2 miles) throughout peak summer months. For a beach with absolutely no canine confines, visit Peppercombe Beach around 5.5 miles away. For walkies that lead away from the coastline, head to Bideford (2.5 miles) to embark on a walking trail along the River Torridge or the traffic-free Tarka Trail.
