A handsome stone cottage in the heart of Beaminster, a holiday here is sure to set tails a-wagging. Paw through the village, lap up the atmosphere and lead the way through the stunning countryside all around. Only 6.5 miles from Bridport, 8 miles from the coast and ensconced in pretty pastoral scenes, you can fill each day with as much or as little exploration as you please before returning to your self-catering retreat. Having roamed all you can roam, nothing will beat settling down in front of the wood burner, treats all around.

A four-person, one-dog cottage, this Grade-II listed property has bags of character. Particularly well-suited to your canine chum’s needs, the open-plan lounge-come-diner has a tiled floor and plenty of space to snooze in front of the toasty wood burner. Catch up on the news if you wish and make use of the Smart TV with its complimentary Netflix account, before heading into the kitchen for hearty replenishment. Plates thoroughly scraped and placed in the dishwasher, venture to the study area to write up your daily diary notes. Later on, when day turns to night, head up the steep cottage-style stairs to find the 2 king-size bedrooms.

Stepping outside, you will be able to enjoy the cottage’s picturesque cobbled courtyard. Take a pew on the outdoor seating while your dog skips up the dozen or so stone steps to the upper garden, where another seating area and enclosed grassy lawn await. When you are ready to stretch your legs a little further, there are all sorts of walks splintering off from the village, including one particularly tempting one leading to the local cake shop only 0.5 miles away! Further afield, the beautiful West Bay is 8 miles away and dog-friendly in the winter months.

Lovely cottage in an excellent position. Good facilities and comfortable beds. The stairs could prove challenging for anyone unsteady on their feet as quite steep. Otherwise it is perfect for couples and family's.
