A beautiful, quirky old cottage in an ideal location. The garden is thoughtfully arranged. We wished it had been warm enough to use the lovely summer house. Upstairs the bed was comfortable and the room warm. The kitchen was well-equipped with interesting crockery. We found the cottage a haven of peace, waking to birdsong!

Ropemakers Cottage is a gem near the centre of Bridport. Town accessible by foot and lots to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Parking only an issue, we parked 7 minutes walk away as it was free. A lovely quirky cottage with everything you could wish for. We loved exploring Dorset from there.
